The Hospitality Team strives to provide a welcoming environment by anticipating the needs of guests. The team provides assistance amenities to ensure a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and worshippers.

The Next Steps Team is committed to help people correctly discern their next step in the spiritual journey of following Jesus.

Next Generation Ministries include ministries and programming for preschool and elementary kids; middle and high school students; and college students. Opportunities to serve and range from weekly engagement to more seasonal events such as camps and retreats. If you are passionate about the next generation then we would love to connect with you. The Member Care team is dedicated to providing prayer, encouragement, and spiritual support to individuals and families who are facing physical and emotional crises. The team ensures regular visits to homebound members and those in local nursing homes. Additionally, the team offers practical assistance with handyman projects.  This team, passionate about serving also oversees specialized ministries such as Cancer Care and Grief Share. First Daytona genuinely has a place for every one in every stage of life. Adult ministries are organized according to stage or season of life. Lifegroups are the primary place where adults engage in ministry and mission together. Men’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry are also available for spiritual enrichment and encouragement with events and programming designed specifically for men and women respectively. A variety of opportunities are listed on the Team Connect Card under Adult Ministries.

The Worship Arts Team is a vital part of First Daytona. This team passionately leads the congregation to worship through music and production. You can connect as a vocalist,  instrumentalist, or as a part of the production team.  The Worship Arts team consists of three major components – the choir and praise team, the worship band, and the tech team. The Facilities Support Team is a dynamic group of volunteers that serve in very tangible ways around the church campus. This team is responsible for mowing 90% of the 80+ acres of grass and lawn on the church campus. Team members work to prepare and recover the facilities during major events. If you love working with your hands then this team is for you. Opportunities are listed on the Team Connect Card under Facilities Support.

First Daytona hosts two major seasonal events at Christmas and Easter – the Daytona Christmas Experience and the Daytona Easter Experience, respectively. Both occasions are generous gifts to the community and more than one hundred team members are required for these to be successful events. Whatever your passions, gifts, or skill-set there is a place for you on these teams. Both events are listed on the Team Connect Card.

First Baptist Daytona Beach is engaged around the world through seven major partnerships. In Daytona Beach and Volusia County we partner with eleven different local partnerships.
